"Wings of Splendor" The Works of John Costin

Tampa artist, John Costin creates exquisitely detailed bird portraits using an age-old process of multi-plate etching and then meticulously colors each print by hand, so no two are alike. Witness the splendor of his etched feathers and learn about his fascinating process. This solo exhibition will showcase 50 of Costin’s works as well as a small etching press from his Tampa studio. Museum hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 am-4 pm; Sunday, 1-4 pm. Opening Reception: Thursday, June 6th, 6-8 p.m.
