The Barons Ball is coming this year to benefit the P/C Rear Admiral William Masters, Jr. Scholarship Fund! Get tickets here: https://thebaronsball.ticketspice.com/the-barons-ball-2024 Our venue this year will be the well-known Estate on the Halifax. With its soaring ceilings and art deco atmosphere, this building is sure to set the stage for our historically inspired guests as well as our modern ones. Our sponsors will enjoy premium seating on the top floor with a private bar and staff. Please email us at thehalifaxfoundation@gmail.com for more information on becoming a sponsor or keep an eye out here. We will be posting the sponsor levels soon. We now have our menu and it looks delicious! Prepared by the widely known and often coveted River City Catering, Kayleigh and her team are really pulling out all the stops for this year's event! To begin the evening, there will be a champagne reception accompanied by Melody Long Anglin and her beautiful artistry on the harp. At this time you will enjoy butler-passed hours d'oeuvres of parmesan truffle risotto croquettes, berries and brie crostini, and marinated beef brochettes. A station of fresh seasonal fruit and domestic cheeses will be available as well. A full-service dinner will follow with a choice of Citrone Chicken Heist, Tender Roast Beef, or Zucchini Boats with quinoa & Vegetables (for our vegetarian guests). All these mouthwatering options will be accompanied by fresh spring salad, fresh vegetable medley, oven-roasted red and sweet potatoes, and freshly baked bread. To top off the delectable meal, a dessert bar will be set with an assortment of coconut cream, key lime, red velvet, and strawberry shortcake shooters. As always, a fully stocked cash bar will be available both upstairs and downstairs and the fantastic 9th Street Jazz Company will be playing your favorite tunes well into the night!
