History of the Ku Klux Klan in Florida Michael Butler, Ph.D., professor of history at Flagler College will provide a brief historical overview of the growth and evolution of the Ku Klux Klan in the Sunshine State from Reconstruction through the 21st Century. Through an examination of the nation's most notorious white supremacy organization, you will learn about how the Florida chapter both reflected and influenced the organization's development at the national level.
