In this colored pencil workshop instructed by Kathi Darby, students will focus on how to render long, short, coarse, and soft fur as well as create a blended background. BRING: Supplies (listed below) SUPPLY LIST: 1) Prismacolor pencils recommended: Black, Burnt Ochre, Cream, Dark Brown Goldenrod, Light Umber, Orange, Powder Blue, Sienna Brown, White, Yellow Ochre, Yellowed Orange, and Verithin Black (optional) 2) Other items: Drawing paper (100lb weight or higher), pencil sharpener, erasers (gum, battery, plastic), a sheet of transfer paper and blenders (colorless blender, stumps, tortillons, or cotton swabs), embossing tool (may substitute Xacto knife or Slice tool)
