Hudson\, a native of Orlando\, Florida\, is a Circuit Judge in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and graduated from Wake Forest University\, cum laude\, in 1982. She received her juris doctor from the University of Florida\, College of Law\, with honors\, in 1985. Before being appointed to the circuit bench in April 2006\, she was in private practice specializing in commercial litigation\, bankruptcy and reorganization.
