We are proud to announce Jayne Fifer as our Key note Speaker for the November 9th event! \n\nJayne Fifer it the President and CEO of VMA\, the area's manufacturers association serving Flagler\, Volusia and surrounding areas. She serves as the voice of the local manufacturing community. In her role she advises local state legislators and the governor in advocating for the needs of our local companies. This has resulted in training grants and sales tax waivers that benefit us locally\,\n\n \n\nShe also serves as an adviser to both local colleges and schools. One of the keys to a strong manufacturing community is the workforce. Jayne directs the efforts to have course offerings match the needs of the local industry. Acting as a conduit between employers and curriculum developers\, a lack of workforce is eliminated as a throttle on local economic development. The ranks or the manufacturing community stand behind Jayne by supporting fund raisers that have contributed over $200\,000 to local schools that expose students to exciting and lucrative local careers.\n\n \n\nOne thing to know about her for sure is that she believes manufacturing is the backbone of the USA and she loves the VMA!
