DESCRIPTION:Please join us at Ocean Art Gallery for an intriguing\, art-filled evening featuring the artistically gifted\, Renata Holder\, of Ormond by the Sea. Her original\, one-of-a-kind paintings are modern and magnificent! Renata's perspective: "What is the "box"? To me\, it is a set of conservative thoughts and visions that are confined by the "walls" of said box. They limit imagination and creativity. Visualization only within the confines of the walls might feel easy\, comfortable and safe but can be boring. The goal with my work is to create thought-provoking images that nudge one to pause\, step back (or maybe even get a little closer) and be curious. I don't project my thoughts but instead\, my visions. I consider my paintings to be subjective and encourage the beholder not to question what was in my mind but realize what my art entices them to see and feel. With my artwork\, I invite you to spend a minute inside my imagination ... outside the proverbial box." You're invited to come meet Renata\, and enjoy her colorful contemporary works of art along with music and light refreshments. Free event open to the public. Free parking in the Granada Plaza plus a free shuttle to other participating Ormond Beach Art Walk venues.
