Claire was a street reporter and later\, an anchor\, interviewing thousands of people and bringing details of important events to the community\, including hurricane coverage. \n\n\n\nShe has won numerous awards in her journalism career\, including an Emmy. \n\n\n\n\n\nMaureen McCann is a meteorologist with Spectrum News 13\, where she has been since 2013. She is a graduate of Cornell University with a BS  in Atmospheric Science. She is a storm chaser as well\, where her work with Tim Samaras' TWISTEX research team resulted in an Emmy award winning special. \n\n\n\nMaureen also holds a masters degree in Emergency and Crisis Management from UCF and a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems. \n\n\n\nJoin us for a look behind the news curtain and meet two of Central Florida's local TV celebs!
