This course was prepared to assist and provide current and future entrepreneurs with the knowledge and understanding of the process to have a business in Florida. \n\n \n\nThis workshop will cover "How To:"\n\n \n\n	Select a Business\n	Get Ready!\n	Write your Own Business Plan\n	Financial Forecasting\n	Establish a Business Name that no one else is using.\n	Register Your Business\n	Register with the IRS\, Volusia County\, City   Business Location.\n	Taxes\n	Insurance\, Financial\, Special & Required Permits\n	Business Plan Resources\n\n \n\nThis workshop is being presented by David Shifflett\, MBA\, LUTCF\, FSS\, CSA.  David has been a SCORE Mentor since 2015. He retired from the Air Force\, where he was an Air Force Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent. He worked as a Production Manager in a textile factory\, transitioned from there to start his own business "FutureAssets" in 1995 as a Sole Proprietor\, which grew to an S-corporation.
