Mr. Bartlett will continue the Volusia County Property Appraiser's Office mission of Fairness\, Equity and Accuracy in the administration of the County Tax Roll.\n\nMr. Bartlett has lived in the Ormond Beach area since 1970. He played football for Seabreeze High School and graduated in 1972. He went on to obtain his B.A. and law degree from the University of Florida and remains a devoted fan of the Fighting Gators.\n\nReturning home from Gainesville in 1979\, Mr.Bartlett practiced real estate law in Volusia County for 33 years. In 1984\, he joined the firm of Black\, Crotty\, and Sims\, and in 1999\, he opened the firm of Crotty & Bartlett\, P.A. with his wife Kathleen Crotty and brother-in- law Michael Crotty.\n\nMr. Bartlett married Kathy Crotty in 1997. They live in Ormond Beach\, and have two daughters. Their first grandchild\, Claire\, was born on November 14\, 2016 in Denver\, Colorado.
