After completing his seminary degree in 2008\, prospects of working in the ministry dwindled as the Great Recession greatly impacted churches and non-profits. During this time\, he received the opportunity to attend a Real Estate investing class and it quickly put him on a new path. What began as a curious exploration into Real Estate investing\, turned into a 13+ year career in the mortgage industry.
