The City of Ormond Beach Department of Leisure Services\, Bethune-Cookman University\, and Stetson University presents the Coastal Science Research Workshop at the Environmental Discovery Center on Saturday\, October 27th between 11 am and 2 pm. The free community event features hands-on labs and stations with local scientists and specialists.\n\n\n\nWith your help\, professors from Bethune-Cookman University and Stetson University will conduct research on water quality\, plankton\, native plants\, sediment cores\, and microplastics. Participate in science research firsthand and learn more about Florida's environment.\n\n\n\nFree parking is available at the Environmental Discovery Center. Guests of all ages are invited to attend.
