Interested in science? Love our coastal ecosystems? The City of Ormond Beach Department of Leisure Services, Bethune-Cookman University, and Stetson University presents the Coastal Science Research Workshop at the Environmental Discovery Center on Saturday, October 27th between 11 am and 2 pm. The free community event features hands-on labs and stations with local scientists and specialists.
With your help, professors from Bethune-Cookman University and Stetson University will conduct research on water quality, plankton, native plants, sediment cores, and microplastics. Participate in science research firsthand and learn more about Florida’s environment.
